As partner of the project Town to town, building a European Culture of Zero Waste, 4 events have been carried out within this project.
Event 1
Participation: The event involved 149 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium),
2 participants from the city of Targu Lapus (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Barcelona (Spain), 2 participants from the city of Paris (France), 2 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 139 participants from the city of Budapest (Hunagry).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Budapest, Hungary, from 02/11/2015 to 04/11/2015
Short description: The aim of the event was to give a brief overview of the Hungarian waste situation through interactive workshops, short presentations and visiting a local composting site and a waste yard.

7 participants from the city of Barcelona (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Paris (France), 2 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 121 participants from the city of Ljubljana (Slovenia), 4 participants from the city of Lucca (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Budapest (Hungary).

Short description: The aim of the event was to give overview of the details that triggered the political commitment and good performance in waste issues by the Slovenian capital.

Short description: The aim of the event was give an overview of the situation of zero waste in Italy through interactive workshops, short presentations and visiting the best practices in the 1st town in Europe to declare the zero waste goal and flagship of the movement in Europe.

Participation: The event involved 31 citizens, including 3 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium),
4 participants from the city of Barcelona (Spain), 6 participants from the city of Paris (France), 3 participants from the city of Lucca (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Ljubljana (Slovenia), 2 participants from the city of Berlin (Germany), 1 participants from the city of Dublin (Ireland), 2 participants from the city of Limassol (Cyprus), 3 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 2 participants from the city of Thessaloniki (Greece), 1 participants from the city of Poznan (Poland) 3 participants from the city of London (UK).

Short description: The aim of the event was to bring the authorities and civil society to close the project by discussing next steps for the network of European zero waste municipalities but also to present to EU policy- makers how their work has helped implementation of EU waste policy.
